Joanne is a qualified and experienced Clinical Psychologist. She has a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Master of Clinical Psychology from Macquarie University. Joanne is fully registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and a Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association. Joanne has over ten years' experience and has worked within hospital, anxiety and specialist research clinics, private practice and university settings, including the past six years at Counselling and Psychological Services at the University of Sydney. She is a warm and compassionate psychologist who has worked with adults and late adolescents with a range of psychological disorders including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, self criticism and shame, grief and loss and relationship concerns. Joanne works collaboratively with her clients using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness approaches. She has run groups and individual treatment programs on perfectionism, procrastination, resilience and adjustment to change. Joanne is passionate about empowering her clients and helping them to improve their psychological wellbeing and pursue meaningful lives and relationships. |
