Diane is an experienced Clinical Psychologist. Diane has a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honours majoring in Psychology and a Masters Degree of Clinical Psychology. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and was a past deputy chair of the Clinical College. Diane has 20 years experience working in a variety of settings including private practice, health and non-government settings including The Growth and Development Clinic and Consultation Liaison at Westmead Hospital and she has also worked in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation at Liverpool Hospital. Diane has had experience working with clients across the lifespan and with a variety of different issues including anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress management and many more. From a clinical perspective Diane tends to have a preference for the Cognitive Behavioural modality. However she is more than happy to tailor therapy to suit individual clients and is usually quite integrative in her approach including aspects of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Diane is also trained in EMDR therapy (Eye Movement and Desensitisation Reprocessing). Diane enjoys working with clients to meet their therapeutic goals and attain best practice treatment outcomes. |
